Hi! I’m Emily . . .

I am an illustrator based in Southern Connecticut. I graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 2017 with a BA in English and minor in Film Studies, and earned my MA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2019. I am heavily influenced and inspired by the literature, film, folk stories, Celtic oral traditions and ancient druidic religious practices that I studied during my time in school, and these elements often pop up in my illustration work! I believe that stories and narratives in any form are extremely powerful, and I strive to keep my work as story-based as possible.

Working mostly digitally, my illustrations are often character-based, colorful and narrative-driven. From Pin-Ups to Children’s Illustrations, and sci-fi stories to folktales, I love to have fun and tell a story with my work!

I am also a children’s book author, and have crafted multiple picture book dummies for future publishing.
